Our Two-Phase Veneers Process

Phase one begins with a consultation, including a discussion of your smile goals and an evaluation of your teeth. You’ll need to be in good health and have healthy natural teeth, as porcelain veneers are designed to fix cosmetic flaws and aren’t the best choice for restoring decayed or damaged teeth. We encourage you to bring in photos that show your ideal smile, but our cosmetic dentists will use their artistic skill and technical experience to ultimately design your new smile. No two individuals have the same unique facial appearance or smile, so it’s our goal to create a beautifully symmetrical and proportional smile just for you. To prepare your teeth for your new restorations, we’ll remove a portion of the enamel.

Phase two involves putting the finishing touches on your new porcelain veneers, including polishing them to look just like shiny, translucent natural teeth. Then, we’ll ensure that they all fit perfectly over your teeth and alongside each other. With meticulous planning and designing of your new teeth, these final restorations rarely, if ever, need to be returned to the dental lab to be redone. Finally, we’ll bond the veneers to your natural teeth with a special cement activated by ultraviolet light.
